What is import export documents attestation?

The Import Export Code (IEC), often called the import export licence, is the basic registration every Indian exporter needs. Overseas buyers and regulators ask for it, along with the RCMC and GST certificate, when they register you as a supplier.

These registration documents are printed, certified by the authorised signatory and notarised, then attested by the chamber and taken to the MEA. For embassy countries the destination embassy legalises them last.
