Why the UAE asks for a legalised free sale certificate
A free sale certificate (FSC), or certificate of free sale, states that a product is freely sold in India. Importing regulators use it to approve products without repeating every test. Depending on the product, the free sale certificate is issued by drug control authorities (medicines and cosmetics), the medical device regulator, food or export authorities, or the DGFT for many unregulated goods.
